The founder of Msichana was born and raised in Uganda, and moved to Canada at 18 to pursue higher education. After more than a decade, Canada is now home but her roots in Africa remain close to heart. Passionate about women’s issues and diversity, she is building Msichana as a way to empower women and build bridges through genuine exposure to issues affecting people across the globe.
Our vision of multiculturalism is applied to fashion through clothing that fuses modern aesthetics with the richness of diverse cultures.
We are working away on our initial clothing line to debut in Fall 2017!
Beyond fashion, Msichana serves as a channel for people to share and discover authentic cultural experiences through travel, art, food, music and literature.
